Since Kant, the central concern of epistemology has been with the possibility and universal validity of human knowledge. Kant’s positions on this matter, based on his lucid reflection on Newton’s mechanics, are still one of the most important springs of our investigation of epistemological issues. According to Kant, knowledge is to be regarded as the human reason’s construction of experience, or the a priori synthetic constitution of objects of experience in human intellects.....
