It is well known that Hilary Putnam's views on realism have undergone significant transformation, that is, from his earlier metaphysical realism to his recent criticism of this realism, which yields what he now calls "internal" realism. However, according to some commentators, given the internal realist's emphasizes that we cannot have evidence-transcendental truth, it follows that what Putnam calls internal realism is in effect close to -- or simply equal to -- a Dummett's style of anti-realism......
